Perth Children’s Contact Services (PCCS)
The Perth Children’s Contact Service (PCCS) provides safe, supervised child-focused visits and changeovers between children and their parents/significant caregivers within the metropolitan area. All supervised visits take place in locations in the public domain or by arrangement in the client’s home in accordance with the child visitation schedule.
All members of the Perth Children’s Contact Service (PCCS) hold current Working with Children certification and police clearances. The team members and associates are from a variety of child focused backgrounds of social workers, welfare, early childhood development and psychology. The primary purpose of this service is to provide a safe and positive environment, for a child, or children, to interact with a family member with whom they will have supervised visits. The PCCS can provide a report usually after 8 supervised visits. All PCCS reports are based on impartial observational records of the interactions between the child and their family. The Perth Children’s Contact Service (PCCS) can also provide ‘hand-over’s’ of a child or children.
